Hi there! You've got a great concept for a community... heh.

So, I've been asked by the owner of a local coffee shop to knit scarves, etc, for her to sell this Winter. The jellyfish scarf is one of my first attempts to move away from using patterns and do something completely different. The yarn is actually 100% wool from a thriftstore sweater I tore apart and re-dyed with Kool-Aid. After messing around with it for awhile I decided I didn't like the striping so I re-dyed it in grape...

Welcome! I made this community at the request of a friend who is still figuring out her way around LJ. We've both gotten tired of the general bitchyness of e-mail lists and I've noticed that LJ seems to be a lot friendlier. We also didn't want to limit it to those who are ample-sized or what ever.

I like the pic with the scarf and the kitty. It sounds like an interesting scarf.

Ahh, thanks. ; )

LJ is pretty nice for the most parts, though some communities are rather "catty" from time to time...

I'm still figuring my way around as well. It's fairly time consuming doing so, but fun.
