Has anyone ever used pet odor and stain remover on bamboo needles? Could you please tell me how that went?

I received orange yarn from drmaggieknits for the purpose knitting myself a jack o lantern wash cloth. I decided instead to wing it on a pumpkin shape. If it turns out, I'll post the pattern.

I'm Moxy and I've been knitting for about 10 years.

I love more unusual yarns and projects, so I thought that knitting outside the box would be a fun community.

I'm almost finished with this beauty:

Amelie from whiteliesdesigns.com .

It combines knitting and crochet in one garment and I can't wait to wear it.

Hey my name is Mairi - I'm 20 and from British Columbia. I have been knitting for about 8 months but learned to knit when I was little. I like to knit hats and anything on circ's or dpns. I'm a geography student with just over a year left. I can't wait to be done school so that I can knit for hours on end without feeling guilty about putting off school work. I love to see what other people are working on and to share my ideas and know how!

hi!
time for the old introductory post!

i'm koala. that's just as good as my real name, so you can actually call me that. um, i've been knitting for about a year, and i'm already a yarn addict. i currently have 5 projects going, and i hope to finish most of them by the end of the semester. maybe one day, i'll knit a human digestive tract like that one on atypically knit. that would be cool.

anyway, i just wanted to say hi and introduce myself =)

Hi there! You've got a great concept for a community... heh.

So, I've been asked by the owner of a local coffee shop to knit scarves, etc, for her to sell this Winter. The jellyfish scarf is one of my first attempts to move away from using patterns and do something completely different. The yarn is actually 100% wool from a thriftstore sweater I tore apart and re-dyed with Kool-Aid. After messing around with it for awhile I decided I didn't like the striping so I re-dyed it in grape...

It gets a lot more interesting when you use stripes of 2 different yarns.

I'm making the Irish Knit Teacozy for a friend who's teaching history and brought his victrola & Victorian style teapot into his class room. Boy is it fufu.

We're looking forward to having a lot of fun while discussing unique and interesting knitting. Post about your FOs (Finished Objects), ask questions, ask for help on figuring stuff out, plot out a new idea and share your experiences in knitting.
